Late summer is such a fun time in Lake Tahoe, with beautiful light and cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. Natalie and Brycen decided to get married and start their story here in Tahoe as it’s always been a special place for Natalie and her family. With her grandmother having lived in the Tahoe Keys for years, that meant plenty of holidays, vacations and summer days spent here. Natalie and her bridesmaids got dressed at her grandmothers house and we managed to get some great portraits of the wedding party there.

With a beautiful garden wedding right on the water in the Tahoe Keys, we had beautiful weather and an amazing backdrop. We loved the idea of getting out on the pier leading into the lake and I loved the leading lines of the pier.

From here we all left for the best part of any wedding, the reception and time to celebrate with friends and family. For me this is one of the favorite parts of any wedding. Seeing the joy and fun of the bride and groom with their best friends and family. Great food and music… Seeing the vision of months of work coming to fruition with decorations, food and celebrations. As usual Kimberly and her team at Riva Grill Lake Tahoe did an amazing job with Rum Runners galore, amazing food and non stop music from the guys with Lake Tahoe DJ.

What a day, truly a privilege to work with such amazing clients and incredible venues.
